ArtPrize 2015

I am please to announce that my work will be on displayed at Artprize 2015. I was honored, and very fortunate, to have so many venues approach me about exhibiting my painting “Exclamation” at their establishments. A big thanks to everyone who made a connection request. After a lot of consideration, I have decided to except an invitation from Fountain Street Church to display my work for the event. Please stop by Fountain Street Church  from Sept 23rd – Oct 11th to view the painting and cast your vote!

Fountain Street collaborates with The American Civil Liberties Union on an exhibition with the theme “Art to Change the World: Inspiring Social Justice.” Art plays an important role as an agent for social and economic justice and peace in the world. We select works that focus attention on basic human needs, respecting diversity, and fostering freedom of expression.

ArtPrize is a radically open, independently organized international art competition and non-profit organization.

For 19 days, three square miles of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, become an open playing field where anyone can find a voice in the conversation about what is art and why it matters. Art from around the world pops up in every inch of downtown, and it’s all free and open to the public.

It’s unorthodox, highly disruptive, and undeniably intriguing to the art world and the public alike.
